Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 29: In a heartwarming gesture of community support and inclusivity, PB Guru Ki Rasoi, a well-known social welfare organization based in Port Blair, has donated a 50-inch Smart Television to the Divyang Home located at the Abbhudaya Complex, Ferrargunj.
The donation was formally handed over today in the presence of local officials, staff members of the home, and members of Guru Ki Rasoi. This initiative aims to provide a source of entertainment, learning, and connectivity to the residents of the home, many of whom live with physical and intellectual disabilities.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Mandeep Grewal, Founder & President of Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi said, “We believe in building bridges of compassion and care. The Divyang community deserves equal opportunities to engage with the world, and we hope this small contribution brings moments of joy and engagement into their daily lives.”
Staff at the Divyang Home expressed gratitude for the thoughtful donation, emphasizing how such acts of kindness help create an inclusive and supportive environment for the residents.
This act is one of many under Guru Ki Rasoi’s ongoing commitment to serve the underprivileged sections of society through food drives, health support, and community outreach programs.
