Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 28: This year’s Festival Issue 2025 of Baakprotima (167th in series), the only PRGI-registered Bengali Little Magazine of Andaman and Nicobar Islands edited by Anadiranjan Biswas, has been unwrapped recently in the Auditorium of Shriram Centre, New Delhi on the pious hands of internationally renowned Bengali Writer as well as social activist Taslima Nasrin on her birthday (25 August 2025).
This festival issue of Baakprotima has been prepared exclusively on the literary works and life- struggle of Taslima Nasrin. The issue contains 428 pages (including covers) and it is clad with 35 articles, one exclusive interview (taken by Mrinal Maiti) and 24 poems, contributed by eminent Bengali writers, out of which 12 writers are Bangladeshi. The issue was so popular in New Delhi that a couple of readers couldn’t collect it as all the copies brought to New Delhi were sold out within no time.
