Sri Vijaya Puram, 28 Aug: Aeromed Air Ambulance has reached a remarkable milestone—over 100 successful patient transfers from Port Blair to leading mainland hospitals—establishing itself as a reliable lifeline for the island community.
Over the past year, Aeromed has handled numerous airline stretcher operations, ensuring every mission is backed by experienced medical teams, state-of-the-art monitoring systems, and continuous oxygen support to guarantee patient safety during critical journeys.

Aeromed is currently in discussions with the Andaman administration to station a dedicated private medical jet in Port Blair. This strategic move is expected to significantly cut down evacuation time and elevate the standard of care during emergency transfers.
Adding to this, Aeromed is launching a 24×7 Response Center in Port Blair, offering direct, round-the-clock access to advanced air ambulance solutions for residents, hospitals, and healthcare providers across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
