Sri Vijaya Puram, July 29: The Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Diglipur, organized a grand Shravan Month’s Kalash Yatra on 28th July 2025, commencing at 9:00 AM. The religious procession began from the Kalpong River, Near Vikas Mela Ground, Navin Nagar and proceeded to the Shri Shri Sitaram Temple, Naveen Nagar. The yatra passed through key locations including the Fish Market, Subhasgram Market, Dolphin Chowk, and Diglipur Police Station.
A large number of devotees of Lord Shiva participated in the sacred event. They first visited the Kalpong River to fetch holy water in Kalash (pots), which they carried throughout the yatra as part of their devotion during the auspicious Shravan month.
Following the yatra, the gathering continued with devotional Bhajan-Kirtan at the temple premises. The spiritual atmosphere was further enriched with a community lunch (Prasadam) served to all the devotees. The event concluded successfully at 3:00 PM, leaving the participants spiritually uplifted and deeply connected to their faith.
