Sri Vijaya Puram, July 28: As part of the Core Program of Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), a one-day workshop on Flagship Schemes of the Government of India was organized today at the Conference Hall of Subhash Gram Panchayat.
The initiative aims to raise awareness among youth and local communities about major centrally sponsored flagship schemes, which have a direct impact on the socio-economic development of citizens, especially in rural and semi-urban areas. The program is designed to empower youth as informed agents of change and bridge the information and access gap through interactive sessions and discussions.
Chief Guest Mr. Shribash Das, Adhyaksh, North & Middle Andaman Zilla Parishad, and Guest of Honour Mr. Dipankar Mistry, Pramukh, Diglipur, graced the occasion and addressed the gathering. Both dignitaries emphasized the importance of youth participation in governance and nation-building, urging them to leverage flagship schemes for achieving the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
Around 50 youth participants attended the program, where Dr. Shipra Mistry, Medical Officer (AYUSH), CHC Diglipur, and Mrs. Afreen, Industrial Promotion Officer, Industry Department, Diglipur, engaged sessions on health, wellness, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance opportunities under various schemes. The deliberations also included the role of youth in achieving the Viksit Bharat@2047 goal.
Earlier, Mr. Sukh Ranjan Biswas, Deputy Director (OSD), welcomed the participants and briefed them about the program’s objectives. In his address, he stated that the core aim of such initiatives is to create informed and empowered youth who can act as catalysts of change in society. He also proposed the formal Vote of Thanks to all dignitaries and participants for their active involvement.
