
Sri Vijaya Puram, July 24: The Andaman Association of Tour Operators (AATO) is participating with great enthusiasm in the India International Travel Mart (IITM) Bengaluru, being held from 24th to 26th July 2024 at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru.
The event was inaugurated by Shri Pasang Dorjee Sona, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Education, Rural Works, Parliamentary Affairs and Libraries, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Shri M. Vinod, President of AATO, was invited as one of the Guests of Honour at the exhibition. He is leading a strong 20+ member delegation of AATO, participating through:
• The Department of Tourism, A&N Administration stall
• The Ministry of Tourism pavilion
• Individual stalls set up by AATO members
This diverse presence aims to promote the unique tourism offerings of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, including eco-tourism, adventure activities, cultural heritage, and pristine natural beauty.
Speaking at the event, Shri M. Vinod expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of A&N Islands, the Secretary (Tourism), and the Director (Tourism) for their continued encouragement and for providing such valuable platforms to the tourism stakeholders of the islands.
He also extended special thanks to the organizers of IITM for hosting one of India’s most impactful travel and tourism exhibitions. “IITM continues to be an excellent platform that brings together tourism professionals, state governments, and travel trade under one roof. It not only boosts destination visibility but also opens up new avenues for collaboration and growth,” Shri Vinod said.
