Harinagar, July 24: A long-pending demand of the villagers of Harinagar Ward No. 05 was fulfilled with the inauguration and handing over of a Multipurpose Community Hall constructed in front of GPS Harinagar Ward No. 05 under GP Harinagar, yesterday.
The Hall was formally opened for public use by Shri Manojit Halder, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Harinagar.The ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Samanta Das, Sarpanch, Ward Member Harinagar-05, senior citizen Shri Kalipada Halder, Shri Satyaban Saojal, Executive Engineer, PRI Mayabunder, Shri Sankar Mondal, Zilla Parishad Member and Shri Dilip Kumar Das, Panchayat Samiti Member, along with other villagers.
Addressing the gathering, the Pradhan highlighted that this community hall, a demand pending for over 35 years, has finally been materialized and dedicated to the people of Harinagar. The villagers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the PRIs for fulfilling this long-awaited demand.
Concluding the program, Shri Sankar Mondal, Zilla Parishad Member, extended thanks to all individuals who directly and indirectly contributed to making this developmental project a reality under Gram Panchayat Harinagar.
