Andaman Sheekha Reporter: Good morning, Dr. Nazia Rasheed. Congratulations on taking the bold step of starting your own Aesthetic clinic, SkinPro, in Port Blair. What inspired you to leave your government job and venture into entrepreneurship?
Dr. Nazia Rasheed: Thank you. As a doctor, I’ve always been passionate about Aesthetic medicine. During my training, I realized the potential of this field in enhancing people’s lives. Seeing the lack of advanced Aesthetic treatments in Andaman, I decided to bring these services to the local populace. I wanted to make high-end treatments accessible and affordable for people who would otherwise have to travel to other cities.
Andaman Sheekha Reporter: That’s commendable. Can you tell us about the services offered at SkinPro?
Dr. Nazia Rasheed: At SkinPro, we offer a wide range of Aesthetic treatments, including skin lightening, permanent hair reduction, wart removal, scars and tattoo removal, hair transplant, PRP treatment, anti-hyperpigmentation treatment, hydra facial, micro needling, dermabrasion, and acne treatment. We’ve invested in state-of-the-art diagnostic and laser machines to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
Andaman Sheekha Reporter: How do you plan to make these treatments affordable for the local population?
Dr. Nazia Rasheed: By setting up our own clinic, we’ve eliminated the middleman and reduced costs. We’re committed to providing high-quality services at competitive prices, making Aesthetic treatments more accessible to the people of Andaman.

Dr. Nazia Rasheed: My experience as a Senior Medical Officer in the Directorate of Health Services has given me a strong foundation in patient care and management. I’m confident that this experience will help me build trust with my patients and deliver exceptional service at SkinPro.
