Port Blair, Apr 11: Andaman Sheekha has been raising the problems faced by the LPG consumers in booking LPG Cylinders. Today Andaman Sheekha team contacted the Chairman of CCS Ltd. Mr. R.V Reddy, who assured to streamline the gas booking system.
Mr. Reddy informed that they have already started the phone gas booking system and yesterday because of the huge crowd gathered at the booking centers the staffs were unable to pick the calls for booking.
He further informed that presently Indian Oil Corporation has allowed only four PC’s in the booking centers to operate the booking transactions and he will request the company to provide them permission to operate more PC’s for booking the refills at the booking counters.
Further Mr. Reddy has requested the LPG consumers to avail the facilities that are being provided to them and not to crowd at the booking centers rather avail the facility of phone booking, online booking etc. He further added that the customers living in far flung areas need not come to the booking centers in the town rather they can submit their LPG Books at the nearest CCS outlet and get their refills booked or they can avail the facility of phone or online booking.
The LPG consumers of CCS now have the facility of booking their refills by calling on the phone numbers 03192-232357, 03192-239016 or by logging on to www.indane.co.in . The consumers can also submit their Gas books at their nearest CCS outlet and get their refills booked.
