Sri Vijaya Puram, July 08: Pankh NGO, known for its continued dedication to the well-being and development of underprivileged children, organised a heartwarming and insightful event for the girl children of Pranab Kanya Ashram. With the new academic session just beginning, the event was thoughtfully curated to help the girls recharge mentally and emotionally through a blend of learning, mindfulness, and joyful expression.
The event was held at the Conference Hall of Hotel Driftwood, creating a warm and welcoming space for the children and guests.
The evening commenced with the screening of an engaging movie focused on concentration skills, designed to inspire and encourage the children to cultivate better focus in their academic and personal lives. This was followed by a deeply enriching session on ‘Tratak’, an ancient yogic practice to improve concentration, led by Ms. R. Narmada, a certified Pranayama and Yoga trainer. The session introduced the children to simple yet powerful techniques that can aid in building mental clarity and focus.
To further rejuvenate the young minds, a guided meditation session was conducted, offering the girls a space for inner calm and self-reflection. As the academic year kicks off, these practices aimed to prepare the children with a positive and energized mindset.
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Shudhanand Swami of Chinmaya Mission, founder president Pankh Komal Anand along with members of Pankh NGO, whose collective encouragement and participation brought warmth and inspiration to the occasion.
The evening concluded on a joyful note as the children were invited to dance their worries out, celebrating the moment with laughter, music, and movement. A scrumptious dinner followed, leaving the girls nourished and smiling.
Pankh NGO extends heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, supporters, and volunteers who made this event a special and memorable experience. The organization continues its mission to uplift and support children through initiatives that promote holistic development.
