Sri Vijaya Puram, June 24:Under Devolution of Powers, applications were invited from licensed fishers/local unemployed youths and Fisheries Co-op Societies under the jurisdictional area of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman for purchase of Motorized/Mechanized fishing boats under the UT Plan, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman latest by 23/06/2025. The last date for submission of the filled in applications to the Office of the Chief Executive Officer/ respective Fisheries Sub-Station has been extended up to 15/07/2025.
Interested local unemployed youths/ entrepreneurs bonafide fishermen have been requested to collect the prescribed application form and detailed terms and condition of the programme from the Office of the Fisheries-Sub Station, Campbell Bay, Hutbay, Panchayat Samiti Prothrapur & Ferrargunj, South Andaman. The interested candidates have been requested to submit the filled in application to the nearest Panchayat Office/ Office of the Chief Executive Office/ respective Fisheries Sub-Station latest by 15/07/2025.
