Sri Vijaya Puram, Jun 24: Chinmaya Mission Sri Vijaya Puram in collaboration with NGO PANKH organized a programme on de-addiction yesterday at Mission auditorium. Resident Acharya of the Mission Swami Shuddhananda Saraswati, President of Chinmaya Vanprastha Sansthan Mr. Manohar Singh and Founder President of PANKH Mrs. Komal Anand spoke in the programme and explained the ill effects of the addiction. Mr. Vishwas Lapalkar from Vivekananda Kendra Kolkata was the special guest on the occasion.
A Speech competition on ill effects of addiction was also organized. Participants of the competition highlighted the ill effects of addiction in personal life as well as in society. Prizes were distributed to participants of the competition.
