Sri Vijaya Puram, June 15: A Delegation Of AATO members led by Shri M.Vinod,President attended an awareness programme on “Zero Waste Tourism-A Sustainable Goal”. The sessions included interactive activities, awareness talks, and distribution of informative materials focused on maintaining hygiene during tours, ensuring clean tourist destinations, and encouraging sustainable practices among tour operators and visitors alike.
Shri M.Vinod ,President, AATO presided over the program as Chief Guest while Shri Avinash Kumar Singh, Superintendent Engineer, Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council was the Guest Of Honour and Shri K.Hamza, General Secretary, AATO.
The speakers spoke about Swatch Bharat mission and to reduce the use of plastic from now so that the use of plastic can soon be totally stopped.
The programme was attended by Aato members led, Research scholars and Staffs Of ZSI.
