Sri Vijaya Puram, Jun 06: The Department of Education, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, Sri Vijaya Puram, is thrilled to announce “TARANG” (तरंग), a grand solo singing and dance competition for school students. This exciting event aims to provide a vibrant platform for young talent to showcase their singing and dancing abilities.
The competition is open to all school students, categorized into three groups: Juniors (Class I-V), Middle (Class VI to VIII) and seniors (Class IX-XII). “TARANG” promises to be a celebration of artistic expression and a testament to the rich talent pool within the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Auditions for aspiring finalists are scheduled on Tuesday, June10, 2025, at Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Sri VijayaPuram. Singing auditions will take place from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by dance auditions from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Students are encouraged to prepare their best performances for a chance to advance to the grand finale.
The Grand Finale of “TARANG” is set to mesmerize audiences on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, Sri VijayaPuram.
