
Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 15: In a landmark action, the District Administration today successfully carried out the first-ever eviction drive from enemy property in Sri Vijaya Puram. This decisive step marks a significant milestone in the enforcement of the Enemy Property Act and the safeguarding of public assets.
The operation was undertaken over enemy property situated at Aberdeen bazaar village which was vacated and the triple storied building standing over the said property has been dismantled in coordination with the Revenue Department, local police personnel and other concerned authorities. The encroached enemy property, identified after due verification and documentation was cleared of unauthorized occupation for further action in accordance with the provisions of the Enemy Property Act.
The authorities have also cautioned the public against any form of illegal occupation of government lands and warned of strict legal consequences in case of violations. This action is part of an ongoing effort to safeguard public assets and ensure their proper utilization in the interest of the state and its citizens.
