
Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb 19: The Pradesh Youth Congress successfully concluded a two-day outreach program in North & Middle Andaman on the 17th and 18th of February, 2025, reaffirmed its commitment to engaging with local population and mobilizing youth participation. The initiative aimed at reaching villages and remote areas to address local grievances and strengthen the party’s presence in the region.
The Meetings saw enthusiastic participation from youths and local supporters across various panchayats. Led by Youth Congress President Ms. Diksha Dular and Youth Leader Mr. Abhibhusan Ghosh, the program was conducted with the support of PCC President Mr. Rangalal Halder, Block President (Rangat) Mr. D. Kandaswamy, Youth Congress Block President Mr.. Tapos Mondal and other prominent local leaders.
The Youth Congress delegation visited multiple locations, including Bakultala Panchayat, Baludera (Kausalaynagar Panchayat), Shyamkund (Bakultala Panchayat), and Chappa Tikri (Urmilapur Panchayat). During these meetings, discussions were held with villagers to understand their pressing concerns, particularly regarding youth-related issues, infrastructure development, and economic opportunities.
Addressing the gatherings, the Youth Congress leadership assured residents of their unwavering support in difficult times. They emphasized the party’s role in raising public concerns and working towards their resolution. Past achievements and future commitments of the Youth Congress in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands were also highlighted, reinforcing the organization’s dedication to grassroots activism and youth empowerment.
The outreach initiative has strengthened the direct link between the Congress party and the people, ensured that their voices will be heard at the highest levels. The Pradesh Youth Congress has pledged to continue such engagements, fostered deeper population relations and advocates for the welfare of the people in North & Middle Andaman.
