Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 22: The Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, in association with BRW Entertainments, celebrated the 76th Republic Day with vibrant cultural performances, meaningful contributions, and a strong message of inclusion and community collaboration.
The program was sponsored by BRW Entertainments, whose support played a vital role in the event’s success. The celebration commenced with a warm welcome address by Mr. Bidhan Majumder, Producer, BRW Entertainments, who expressed his pride in supporting an event dedicated to empowering Divyangjan.
The presidential address was delivered by Mrs. Sumithamol, Director, CRC A&N Islands, who emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in creating an inclusive society and applauded the support of community stakeholders. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Arjun Sharma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman delivered an inspiring speech and valuable support CRC A&N Islands for the welfare of Divyangjan. He highlighted the strides made in fostering inclusion.
The Guest of Honor, Mrs. Jagtap Kalyani Rajendra, DANICS, Director of Fisheries, and the Special Guest, Mr. Abdul Basheer, Pradhan of Kanyapuram and President of Nayi Manzil NGO, commended CRC’s initiatives and the support provided by BRW Entertainments and also the mesmerizing performances by the special children. A heartfelt special thanks was extended to Mr. Ankit Tripathi, a leading stakeholder in the tourism industry, for his encouragement and contributions that enriched the event.
Mr. Wahid Shah, Director of BRW Entertainments, made a generous donation of two ceiling fans to CRC A&N Islands, further enhancing the center’s facilities for Divyangjan. The event’s highlight was the cultural and musical performances by the special children of CRC, whose incredible talent and confidence mesmerized the audience. The musical republic day performances of BRW Entertainments added a professional touch, making the occasion truly memorable.
Adding to the celebrations, gifts were distributed to the children, bringing joy and smiles to their faces and creating a heartwarming conclusion to the event. Parents, CRC staff, media personnel, and community members attended the event, celebrating not only the nation’s Republic Day but also the spirit of unity and inclusion.
