Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 20: On Day 7 of the Special National Integration Camp 2025, NCC cadets explored the historic Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island and the scenic North Bay Island.
At Subhash Chandra Bose Island, the cadets discovered remnants of British colonial architecture and gained insights into India’s pre- and post-independence history. The island’s natural beauty further enriched their experience.
In the afternoon, the cadets visited North Bay Island, renowned for its vibrant coral reefs and pristine landscapes. The crystal-clear waters and breathtaking scenery offered a glimpse of the Andaman Islands’ untouched charm.
Colonel Pankaj Modgil, Commanding Officer of 1 (AN) Independent Infantry Company NCC, guided the cadets, sharing valuable insights and ensuring their safety.
The day was a memorable mix of history, nature, and adventure for the cadets.
