Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 27: The Andaman & Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee paid rich tributes to the Late Former Prime Minister of India and the architect of modern India Dr. Manmohan Singh who passed away on Thursday (December 26, 2024) at the age of 92.
Mr. TSG Bhasker, Chairman, Campaign Committee – ANTCC led the partymen in paying floral tributes to the Departed Leader which was followed by a 2 minute Silence. The State leadership of the DMK Party, CPI (M) Party and the TDP Party were also present and they paid their tribute to Dr. Manmohan Singh.
As a mark of respect for Dr. Manmohan Singh, the ANTCC has cancelled all programmes for next seven days.
Dr. Manmohan Singh’s journey from a common background to becoming an economist, Governor of the Reserve Bank, Finance Minister, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, and Prime Minister is inspirational for everyone.
He will always be remembered for his visionary thinking and deep insights while always being humble and upholding his personal values.
