Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec. 12: The Notification issued by the Election Commission (UTs) for A&N Islands, the Bye-election against to fill up the casual vacancies have occurred in Gram Panchayats due to resignations of its member elected to Panchayat Samiti of Paschimsagar Gram Panchayat of Diglipur Tehsil, Nabagram Gram Panchayat Member Constituency Nabagram-1 of Diglipur Tehsil, Hope Town Gram Panchayat Member Constituency of Hope Town-1 of Ferrargunj Tehsil and No Confidence Motion of Pradhan Constituency of Pahalgaon Gram Panchayat under Mayabunder Tehsil respectively is declared on 12.01.2025 (Sunday).
All Political Parties, Contesting Candidates and their Election agents have been informed to strictly comply with the provision of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands prevention of defacement of property Regulation, 1987 (1 of 1987) in its true letter and spirit to avoid any legal consequences.
