Sri Vijaya Puram, December 10 : The International Human Rights & Crime Control Organization (IHRCCO), in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services and the National Program for Control of Blindness & Visual Impairment, marked International Human Rights Day by organizing a special Eye Camp at the Community Hall in Chouldari Junction, South Andaman.
Held on December 10, 2024, the event began at 10:00 AM and was led by Mrs. Saraswati Narayan, National General Secretary and State President of IHRCCO, under the overall guidance of Mr. Mohit Navani, National Chairman. The initiative provided much-needed eye care services to the community, reflecting the organization’s commitment to health and human rights.
On the preceding day, December 9, 2024, IHRCCO hosted a heartwarming event at Calvary Children’s Home in Port Mout, South Andaman. With Ms. Ankita, an in-charge from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, in attendance, the team distributed snacks and garments to the children, spreading joy among the young residents. This gesture of compassion was widely praised by the public, with particular recognition for Saraswati Narayan, whose dedication to social causes has been instrumental in such impactful initiatives.
Earlier on December 7, 2024, IHRCCO conducted an awareness program at GSSS Manglutana, graced by Hon’ble Judicial Magistrate -1, Shri Anupam Sircar as the Chief Guest. The program featured insights from Mr. Vishwanathan, SHO at PS Humfrygunj, on crime prevention, and Ms. Ananya from PHC Manglutan, who addressed health-related concerns. The school’s principal, Mrs. Deepa Nair, emphasized the importance of awareness in fostering a proactive and informed society.
These consecutive events by IHRCCO team underscore its unwavering dedication to human rights advocacy, community welfare, and public awareness.
