Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 10: Upholding its commitment to safeguarding public assets, the District Administration, South Andaman, carried out a targeted eviction drive in Dudh Line village, reclaiming government revenue land from unauthorized occupation.
The operation resulted in the removal of four encroachments, including temporary fencing with nets, one shed, and plantations of banana and arecanut. Approximately 2000 square meters of prime government land were restored to government khata.
The District Administration, South Andaman remains steadfast in its efforts to protect government land and ensure its rightful use for public welfare. Encroachments on public property will be met with resolute legal action.
