Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 01: In a momentous stride toward enhancing rural infrastructure, Mr. Arjun Sharma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman & Secretary (Rural Development) accompanied by Mr. Vinayak Chamadia, IAS, Sub-Divisional Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate, inaugurated the newly constructed cement concrete (CC) roads, connecting the villages of Kadakachang, Chouldari, and Brindaban. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from community leaders, officials, and residents, celebrating a shared vision of progress and connectivity.
The occasion was graced by the presence of the Pradhans of the respective villages, Zilla Parishad members, and representatives of various Panchayat Raj Institutions. Their participation underscored the collective commitment of local governance in realizing this essential infrastructure project.

Following the inauguration, the Deputy Commissioner, along with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, visited the Sippighat Gram Panchayat to review the ongoing developmental projects in the area. The team assessed the construction of the Minor Irrigation (MI) pond under MGNREGA within the allotted grazing land, as well as the facelift work on the Sippighat Community Hall. Additionally, potential sites for the proposed indoor Kabaddi stadium within the panchayat were explored, highlighting the administration’s commitment to enhancing sports infrastructure and community facilities. These initiatives collectively symbolize the administration’s unwavering commitment to inclusive development and progress.
