Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 13: For the academic year 2024-25, applications have been invited from the eligible ST students to apply for both fresh and renewal applications under the following scholarship schemes as per the timelines given below:

All eligible ST students have been advised to apply online on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at url: https://scholarships.gov.in/ under Head State Scheme-Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Pre-Matric Scholarship to ST students, Post-Matric Scholarship to ST students and Additional Scholarship to ST students. ST students have also been advised to give details of only active bank account which remains in active mode and is compliant as per bank’s instructions so that payment of scholarship does not fail.
A dedicated Helpdesk has been set up in all Schools/ Colleges to extend support to the ST beneficiaries for filling of online application on NSP portal. Further, Helpdesk has also been set up in the Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Secretariat Complex, Sri Vijaya Puram as part of support to the ST students. All eligible Scheduled Tribe students have been encouraged to come forward and take advantage of the financial support provided by the UT Administration and the Govt. of India.
