Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 03: The event was organised in collaboration with Akhil Bhartiya Terapanth Yuvuk Parishad, a non-governmental organisation (NGO). Representing Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr. M P Abdul Rasheed and Mr. Saikat Biswas, Director and founder Ration Rasheed Foundation attended the Blood Donation Conclave and shared their experience and initiatives related to organizing Blood Donation camps at various places at A&N Islands with the support of Andaman and Nicobar Administration.
Director General of Health Services, Union Ministry of Health, Dr. Atul Goel praised the work being done by Mr. Rasheed in the remotest part of our country and felicitated both the Director’s of Ration Rasheed Foundation and highlighted the significance of voluntary blood donation in fostering a healthy and robust India. Dr. Megha Pravin Khobragade (ADG) MoHFW, GoI and Mr. Sudhanshu Pant (IAS), CHIEF SECRETARY, Rajasthan, Jaipur were also present during the Conclave.
