Port Blair, Sept 12: The Chairman of TSG Charitable Foundation Mr. TSG Bhasker has congratulated Ms. Sheela Mondal, Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM), Primary Health Centre, Garacharma for being conferred with the prestigious “National Florence Nightingale Award 2024” by the Hon’ble President of India for her exemplary contribution to healthcare service.
Over the last 25 years, Ms. Sheela Mondal has assisted hundreds of needy patients especially pregnant women living in remote Islands and proved to be a lifesaver. She was also instrumental in carrying out vaccination drives in all remote Islands.
“This is a matter of glory for Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Wishing her more success in the coming days”, said Mr. Bhasker.
