Port Blair, Jul 26: The students of the Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) program from DPMI, Port Blair have returned to their hometown after completing a 4-day educational tour in Delhi. This marks the first time that students from a private institute in Port Blair have been selected for such a tour.
Why Delhi? The selection of Delhi for the tour was influenced by the presence of the head office of DPMI in New Ashok Nagar, Delhi.
The 15 students were warmly welcomed upon their arrival at DPMI, Delhi, where they were introduced to each faculty member and various sections of the university. They attended practical classes for five subjects, received hands-on CPR training from experts, and were recognized as good and talented students.
A highlight of their tour was a meeting with Mr. Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister (Minister of Communication and Development Minister of North East India), at his residence in New Delhi. The students also visited notable landmarks such as Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, and the Waste to Wonder Park.
