Mayabunder, July 21:The meeting of Governing Body of VKZPVs, N&M Andaman was held on July 18, 2024 in the Conference Hall of the Zilla Parishad, Mayabunder. Smt. Elizabeth, Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, North & Middle Andaman welcomed all the Members of Body and Shri Ashish Joon, CEO, Zilla Parishad briefed about the ongoing projects of VKZPVs, initiatives taken like procurement of sports items and the proposed repair and maintenance of the three VKZPVs and the ongoing repair project of VKV, Kadamtala.
This was followed by a detailed discussion among the Members for executing fresh MoU of Vivekananda Kendra Zilla Parishad Vidyalayas and also decision was taken by the Governing Body on the matter of fees structure, repair & renovation of Schools building and extracurricular activities, sports calendar; procurement of generator set, desk bench, inverter many of the above have already been implemented by Zilla Parishad and proposal for introduction physical education as additional subject in XI & XII Std was also passed. Other initiatives like installation of fire fighting equipment, starting of smart classes in VKZPVs under Zilla Parishad, N&M Andaman is also under process to provide comprehensive and inclusive education system in VKV Schools.
