Port Blair, May 26: The District Administration, South Andaman is continuously carrying out significant anti encroachment drives to preserve community spaces and ensuring lawful use of public property.
The Revenue officials of Port Blair Tehsil removed illegal occupation in shape of one no of piped structure standing over recorded land at Bimblitan village with the assistance of excavator in the presence of police personnel. An area 200 sqmts was reinstated to the possession of the recorded tenant.
The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman cautioned the General Public to refrain from encroaching on Government land and that the District Administration has zero tolerance towards encroachment on government land and it shall uphold the interest of law against encroachers and serious action shall be fixed upon those supporting the encroachers.
