Port Blair, May 07: On 5th May, 2024, the Sociocultural Organization Chetna, convened its General Body Meeting at the Neetika Lal’s Lal Bagh Ecofriendly Resort, Patthar Gaddha, South Andaman District, Port Blair to elect the office bearers for its Executive Committee, and other committees. Election of office bearers for various posts was held under the supervision of Monitoring Committee, Presided over by Mr. Iliyas Ahamad Khan, with the support and cooperation of Members namely Mr. Govind Ram and Mr. Basudev Das.
During the meeting Mr. B. P. Yadav was elected as President, Mr. Shaikh Farooque Alam as Vice President, Mrs. Geeta Naveen Bhatt as Vice President, Dr. Renu Bala as General Secretary, Mrs. K. Suma as Joint Secretary, Mr. Prakash Horo as Joint Secretary and Mr. Shivram Yadav was elected as Treasurer.
Other than this 08 members were elected for the executive committee Mr. Naveen Chander Das, Mr.
Rajesh Kumar Nirash, Mrs. Rita Banerji, Mr. R. P. Manivasan, Mr. A. Peter Raj, Dr. Neeta Samaddar,
Mr. Rajendra Pal Sharma and Mr. Dayal Mistri.
