Port Blair, Mar 17: Keeping in view of pest & disease incidence in vegetable crops, Central Integrated Pest Management Centre (CIPMC), DPPQ&S, Ministry of Agriculture & farmers Welfare in co-ordination with State Dept. of Agriculture conducted the Farmers’ Field School-Rabi 2023-24 to sensitize and spread awareness about IPM technology at Guptapara village, Ferrargunj block, South Andaman. The programme was inaugurated on 11.01.2024 in presence of Mrs. D. Adilaxmy, AA along with Dept. Officials. IPM Kits and bio-pesticides were distributed to the participating farmers on Field day (15.03.2024) in presence of Mr. Durlav Das, Gram Panchayat Pradhan, Guptapara. Programme was concluded by programme co-ordinator Dr. Swarnavo Chakraborty with vote of thanks.
