Port Blair, Mar 10: The Member of Parliament of Andaman Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma today inaugurated a new multi-gym facility at the Humfrygunj Panchayat Complex, which was constructed under MPLADS funds.
The multi-gym facility was sanctioned by the Member of Parliament after demands raised by youths of the area. Constructed at a cost of 10 lakh rupees, the multi-gym is poised to serve the youths of Humfrygunj, Wandoor, Hasmatabad, Chouldary and nearby regions.
The facility is expected to cater to the fitness needs of individuals seeking a healthier lifestyle.
Addressing the gathering the Member of Parliament urged the youths of the region to make maximum use of the new facility and he also urged them to stay away from any kind of drug or other addictions. During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Palani Kumar, the Pradhan of Humfrygunj Panchayat, former Pradhan of Humfrygunj Panchayat, Mrs. Sahay Mary and other distinguished guests were present.
