Port Blair, Feb 05: The general public and all private contractors have been informed that, to minimize disruptions and potential damages to both overhead and underground telecommunication assets, a temporary moratorium on tree cutting and digging activities in public places is being implemented with immediate effect till the end of third week of February, 2024.
All such activities have been requested to be paused immediately. This measure is crucial to prevent accidental damages to fiber/copper cables and other telecommunication infrastructure. All have been urged to comply with these temporary restrictions.
