Port Blair, Feb 05: Vice Adm MP Muralidharan, AVSM & BAR NM, Director General Indian Coast Guard accompanied by Mrs Jayasree Muralidharan, President Tatrakshika is on farewell visit to Coast Guard Region (A&N). In the honour of President Tatrakshika, the CGWWA (A&N) organized a Special Coffee Morning at Community Centre on 04 Feb 13.
Ladies from all Coast Guard units based at Port Blair participated in the grand event. A theme based cultural programme comprising of skit, fashion show, etc. was also organized to make the event memorable.
Mrs Jayasree Muralidharan appreciated the efforts of Tatrakshika (A&N) in women development, and providing support to the needy and the underprivileged.
She added that it is the talent coupled with innovation and diligence of CGWWA (A&N) that has always kept the welfare activities pulsating and progressing. The Chief Guest thanked Mrs Jyoti Murthy, President Tatrakshika (A&N) and all ladies for the wonderful send-off. The event culminated with prize distribution to all participants of the cultural programme.
