Port Blair, Dec 07: It is brought to the notice of the electricity consumers and general public that, to create safe corridors for electricity feeders and tie lines, the Electricity Department will exercise line clearance and pruning of dangerous trees standing at Austinabad area on 09.12.2023 between 0800 hrs. and 1400 hrs., to avoid power disruption and electricity faults can be prevented. During this exercise electricity supply of the following area shall be disrupted on 09.12.2023 from 0800 hrs. to 1400 hrs. for the safety of staff who shall be engaged in line clearance work.

In addition to above, power supply will also suspended at the following on 09.12.2023 (Saturday) from 0800 Hrs. to 1600 Hrs. in connection with cutting & removal of Siris Tree by APWD, standing in danger condition in land situated at Junglighat school, as per the order of SDM.
