Port Blair, Dec 01: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Member of Parliament of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has requested the Chief Secretary of Andaman and Nicobar Administration to revise the trade test timings for Electricity Mazdoor and Swimming Test for candidates who have successfully qualified in various examinations, as outlined by the recent A & N Administration order.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, the Member of Parliament pointed out that two crucial trade tests have been scheduled on the same day, causing considerable confusion and anxiety among candidates who have applied for both positions.
He added that the trade test for the Electricity Mazdoor is scheduled for 3rd December at 6.00 AM, while the Swimming Test is scheduled for the same day at 7.00 AM. This scheduling conflict poses a significant challenge for candidates who have applied for both positions, as attending both trade tests appears impossible, resulting in a potential loss for them.
In this regard, he requested the Chief Secretary to consider revising the trade test timings for both positions.
“By adjusting the schedules, candidates will have the opportunity to participate in both trade tests without undue pressure or potential loss,” he added.
