As we commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, I extend heartfelt greetings to all members of the Chota Nagpuri Community residing in the picturesque Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Bhagwan Birsa Munda, a stalwart of the tribal revolution during the British Empire, played a pivotal role in India’s struggle for freedom. His indomitable spirit, bravery, and sacrifices have left an indelible mark on our nation’s history. Born on November 15, 1875, we celebrate this day as Birsa Munda Jayanti, paying homage to his legacy.
The exemplary life of this freedom fighter serves as an inspiration for us all. Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s commitment to protecting the interests of the tribal society continues to resonate.
On this occasion, I call upon the youths of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to draw inspiration from his life and principles, contributing to the welfare and progress of our diverse community.
May the teachings and ideals of Bhagwan Birsa Munda guide us towards unity, justice, and prosperity. Wishing you all a joyous celebration on this auspicious day.
