Port Blair, Nov 14: PM SHRI. Govt. Sr. Sec. Bambooflat has organized SCIENCE, MATHS, ART & CRAFT EXHIBITION in the school premises on 14.11.2023. Mrs. Sangeeta Chand, Deputy Education Officer, Wimberlygunj has been invited as the chief guest for this exhibition. The exhibition started at 9.30.a.m. with the lamp lighting and inauguration.
Mrs. Sobha Roy, Principal, PM MR. GSSS Bambooflat welcomed the Chief Guest and all the dignitaries present during the occasion. As the exhibition started, various students presented and highlighted the concepts of Science, Maths, Arts and Craft through their projects. Models of solar power energy, space satellites, hydroelectric generators, space suites, respiratory systems, Chandrayaan 3, Vikram Lander, Trigonometric Parks, Handmade crafts and visual arts were presented by the students.
Mrs. Sangeeta Chand along with the Principal, went around looking at the different models designed by the students and was impressed by the descriptions given by the students. Apart from models, the students also bestowed visual presentations to help everyone understand the concepts of their working models.
The Chief Guest also inaugurated the beautiful and mesmerizing display on Foundation of Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) models presented by the primary students of different schools of CRC Bambooflat. In conclusion, the chief guest highlighted various aspects of the exhibition which were very encouraging and thanked the Principal for organizing such an awe-inspiring event.
She also encouraged the students to chase their dreams through this exhibition. At the end of the exhibition, upon careful inspection of the different models and projects, ten projects, five each from Science and Maths were selected for further upliftment. The exhibition ended with the Principal delivering a speech extending her gratitude to the chief guest, dignitaries and congratulating all the students who participated in the exhibition.
