Port Blair, Nov. 9: As part of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative and as per directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, the Foundation Day of Uttarakhand was celebrated enthusiastically today (Nov.9) at Raj Niwas. Persons hailing from Uttarakhand participated in the function.
During the event, an interaction and experience sharing session was conducted on the occasion. A short documentary on Uttarakhand was also screened. The function concluded with high tea, group photograph and presentation of mementos to the invitees.
The participants thanked MHA, Govt. of India and Raj Niwas for the initiative and for providing them the opportunities and platform for interaction.
