Port Blair, Oct 18: The Member of Parliament, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma on 14 October 2023 laid the foundation stone for construction of a Multipurpose Open Court with Flood Lights (LED) Facilities at Lall Bijan, Dairy Farm, Ward Number 9, Port Blair.
The work under MPLADS funds with an estimated cost about Rs. 14,27,000, was sanctioned by the Member of Parliament following demand raised by people of the area.
In the foundation laying ceremony Mrs. S Selvi, Chairperson, PBMC, Ward Councillor, Ward Number 19, Mr. V Vetrivelu, Councillor Ward Number 9, Mr. V Ravichandran, Councillor Ward Number 14, Mr. Y Joga Rao and PBMC officials were present.
