Port Blair, Oct 18: The Andaman Nicobar Territorial President Mr. Rangalal Halder raises demand that concerns the well-being of the patients at the Primary Health Centers (PHCs) in Hutbay and R.K Pur.
In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, A & N Administration, Mr. Halder said that the doctors and staff nurses in the PHCs have been actively raising donations and collections to ensure that the patients receive the nutrition they require during their stay at the Hospital.
He added that it is the duty of the Medical Administration to acknowledge that patients and the Communities of Ongi tribe receive adequate meals while admitted at the PHCs. Delay in access to food hampers the overall nutrition while recovering from illness or undergoing treatment.
Furthermore, Mr. Halder has requested for the support and cooperation of the Administration in this endeavor to ensure that every patient, including those from the Ongi tribe, receives the care and nutrition they deserve at the PHCs.
