Port Blair, Oct 12: On 11 Oct 2023, on the occasion of “International Girl Child Day” NGO Hope foundation organised a program in Balika Niketan, in the presence of Mrs. Zarina Bibi (CDPO) Urban Project and Mukhiya Sevika’s Urban project. The girls of Balika Niketan presented Dance performance on this occasion.
Later Mrs. Zarina Bibi explained the Rights of Girl Child and also informed the girl’s about the benefits and schemes provided by the Govt. Of India for Girl children. Thereafter Mrs. Farida Bibi Secretary-cum-Director (Hope Foundation) explained the reason for celebrating International Girl Child Day and also encouraged the girl’s to give importance to education. The program was a great success.
