Port Blair, Oct 04: On 01st October 2023, as per the instruction given by Central Government, CRC A&N-Islands in association with ANCOL, Port Blair started its cleaning and sanitation in areas of Bathu Basti market and Corbyn’s Cove beach, Port Blair with the theme “Clean India Green India” and “Leave nothing at beach only your footprints”
As CRC A&N -Islands is working for the holistic rehabilitation services for Divyangjan , the aim of the programme is not only clean India but inclusively for giving “Awareness about the Importance of Sanitation Need for the Disabled” .
The cleaning activity at Corbyn’s Cove Beach inaugurated by Dr.Navaz, HOD of Department of Music Department, ANCOL and Mr. Arjun Kumar, Guest faculty of Department of Psychology, ANCOL. And as well the cleaning activity at Bathu Basti Market has been inaugurated by Mr. Vetrivel, Counsellor of Pather Gudda under the supervision of Mrs. Sumithamol, Resident Nodal Officer, CRC A&N-Islands.
A Total of 70 students and staff members participated in the whole programme.
