Port Blair, Sep 17: The 56th Engineers Day was celebrated by The Institution of Engineers (India), Andaman & Nicobar State Centre on 15th September 2023 at the Conference Hall of ALHW, Mohanpura, Port Blair. Er. K. Sekar, FIE, Retd. Chief Engineer & Administrator, ALHW was the Chief Guest. After the Inaugural session, a technical session was conducted in which Col. Arvind Bhakuni, CWE, MES delivered the keynote address on the theme, which was followed by two more lectures on the theme by Er. F.B. Singh, DGM/Scientist, ISTRAC, ISRO, Bangalore and Er. Sreekanth Reddy, AGM, Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Pvt. Ltd. A large number of engineers from various Central Govt. organizations and Departments under A&N Administration participated in the event. Cultural programmes followed by dinner were organized for all participating engineers in the evening at ALHW Multipurpose Hall.
