Port Blair, Sep 10: On the occasion of 60th All India Political Science International Conference held on 9&10 September in Mahatma Gandhi Antarashtriya Hindi Viswavidyalaya , Wardha an edited book entitled “Socio-Economic Transformation of Indian Muslims : with special reference to Andaman Islands” was released virtually by Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Sharma , former Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Central University , Motihari, Bihar & General Secretary of Indian Political Science Association and Prof. Manas Chakroborty Emirate Professor & former National Fellow of ICSSR. The book is edited by Dr. Swapan K Biswas, Associate Professor & Head ,Political Science , MGG College ,Dr. Hema Bannerjee , Associate Professor & Head , Economics , JNRM and Dr. Palash C Commar , former joint –Director , Census Operation, GoI. Some important contributors to this book include eminent Prof.Muzaffar Assadi, Mysore University , Prof. K M Sajad Ibrahim, Kerala University, Dr. Swati Chakroborty , Dr. Palash C Commar ,Dr. Hema Bannerjee , Dr. S S SreeKumar and six others faculties of islands colleges.
