Port Blair, Aug 20: The Provisional Merit List of candidates seeking admission for the Academic Year 2023-24 in various UG courses in M.G. Govt College, Mayabunder has been published online. The provisional merit list – course-wise is available at url:college admission. andaman. gov.in.
All the candidates seeking admission should attend the counseling with their parents/ guardians along with all original certificates and adequate number of Xerox copies at the time of counseling without fail. If the provisionally admitted candidates fail to deposit the prescribed fee in the time bound period of 3 days from the date of admission, his/her admission in the said course will be canceled and the seat will be given to the next candidate on the basis of Waiting Merit List. The provisionally admitted candidates seeking for hostel accommodation should collect their forms from the auditorium, i.e. the place of counseling on the day of Admission. As there are limited seats available in the Girls/Boys Hostels, the Hostel Accommodation shall be provided purely on the basis of Merit.

The candidates should attend the counseling physically. If any candidate is unable to attend the counseling in person due to unavoidable situations, his/her parents/guardian will be allowed to attend the counseling on behalf of the said candidate.
If any seat is lying vacant after the Counseling Process is over, the desirous candidates for seeking admission will be admitted in First Come, First Serve basis from 05/09/2023 onwards till 08/09/2023.
The original documents to be brought mandatorily by the candidates at the time of Counseling for Admission are Transfer Certificate, 10th Pass Certificate / Mark Statement with Xerox Copy, 12th Pass Mark Statement with Xerox Copy, Category Certificate (OBC/ST/PH/EWS) with Xerox Copy and one passport size photograph with white background.
