
Port Blair, July 14: The Vidya Yuvakendra Foundation (VYF), a renowned NGO dedicated to youth skill development, has joined hands with NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development) to offer a three-month free training program in Graphic Design for the youth of the islands.
On July 13, 2023, an inaugural function was organized at the VYF office in Bhathubasthi to mark the occasion. Mr. Rahul Damani, Deputy General Manager of NABARD, was invited as the chief guest, while Mr. Bhaskar, the Proprietor of GCM Press, and Mr. Sanjay, the Proprietor of Sanjay Printers, were the special guests.
Mr. Bhaskar, the Proprietor of GCM Press, expressed his appreciation for the initiative taken by Vidya Yuvakendra Foundation (VYF) in providing valuable skill development courses to our local youth. He highlighted the importance of the Graphic Design field and how it can enhance the skill sets of the participants.
Mr. Sanjay, the Proprietor of Sanjay Printers, shed light on the course and its benefits, emphasizing its global demand. He explained that students who take up freelance projects in their area of interest have the opportunity to become self-employed and self-reliant.
Mr. Mohanram Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of VYK, expressed gratitude for the invaluable support extended by NABARD. He stated that VYK is committed to empowering the youth for self-employment through skill development initiatives.
