Port Blair, July 13: In a significant breakthrough, the Central Crime Station, CID, acting on a specific intelligence input received from a reliable source, successfully intercepted an individual and seized a substantial quantity of Methamphetamine. The operation was carried out by a team comprising of Sub-Inspector Shaji Mathew, Head Constable Sanjay Kujur, Constable K. Rajendran, N. Thangaraj, and Chandran under the supervision of Dy.SP (CID) Sh. Kumar Abhishek, DANIPS.
On 11/07/2023, near the Nescafe Coffee/snack shop at Mazarpahad, the team apprehended Mr. S. Karthick, aged 34, son of Late. N. Selvam and a resident of Sippighat, Bambanallah. A thorough search of his person led to the discovery and confiscation of 5.62 grams of Methamphetamine.
