Port Blair, July 04: As soon as the ground situation of flood hit Swadesh Nagar and Hari Nagar due to heavy rainfall was briefed to the senior leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party, Mr. Ajoy Bairagi State President BJP ANI, and Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP, immediately rushed to the ground zero to take the stock of the situation.
On assessing the situation, they immediately requested Deputy Commissioner and Relief Commissioner North and Middle Andaman for immediately constituting a Damage Assessment Committee and assess the damage of Agriculture Product, livestock’s, and other monetary loss and make proper survey by door to door visit and compensate the villagers of above gram panchayats accordingly.
