Mayabunder, Apr 16: A meeting was held recently in N&M Andaman district to discuss the successful implementation of the Jal Jivan Mission. The Executive Engineer of Rangat Subdivision, Mayabunder , and the Executive Engineer of Diglipur subdivision APWD were also present at the meeting. The objective of the meeting was to discuss how the mission could be successful in the district.
During the meeting, scientist Debashis Bagchi placed several crucial scientific technical suggestions for the administration to ensure the success of the Jal Jivan mission in N&M Andaman. Additionally, DC Ankitt Yadav, IAS, highlighted various points regarding the storing of harvested water and urged the engineers to work hard at water source springs in Panchwati, Korang Nallah (GP Hari Nagar), and the Diglipur region.
All the expert engineers present at the meeting promised to work hard to ensure the success of the Jal Jivan mission and to put an end to the water crisis in the region in a timely manner.
DC Ankitt Yadav appreciated scientist Debashis Bagchi for elaborately explaining the actual geological situation of N&M Andaman and advising how to work in these environments to make the mission successful. He further appraised the engineers for their sound working attitudes towards their responsibility.
